Experiment with different herbs to change the flavor. I’ve made this quick bread with thyme and it tastes delicious too. Rosemary’s gonna be in my next one.
My point is that you should get creative with flavors. Make it interesting even if it’s just a simple microwave bread!

LOW CARB 90-SECOND GARLIC SAGE CHEESY BREAD RECIPE
This Low Carb 90-Second Garlic Sage Cheesy Bread recipe is savory and flavorful.
It’s perfect for those moments when you desperately crave bread, but all you have is an old bag of honey wheat bread that’s been in the fridge for longer than you care to admit. You know it won’t even taste good, but you’re tempted to have it just because it’s bread.
Don’t break your no-processed-food streak, make this quick recipe.
INGREDIENTS
1 Tbsp organic coconut flour
½ tsp aluminum-free baking powder
1 dash of garlic powder
1½ tsp butter
1 tsp cream cheese
2 Tbsp shredded cheddar cheese
1 large egg
1 large sage leaf minced
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
In a small bowl, melt butter for 20 seconds in the microwave. Add cream cheese and nuke for 10 seconds more.
Add coconut flour, baking powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix until well combined.
Add egg and mix until well combined. Mix in cheddar cheese and minced sage.
Heat in the microwave for 90 seconds. Remove and cut in half to create two slices. To brown the bread, heat a skillet on high and place the two slices, flipping them over when browned.
Use as sandwich bread. Or eat as is. Enjoy!

I absolutely love sage in bread – I use it scones with cheddar and it is such a delicate flavor. This sounds good and something I can eat during the week when I low-carb 🙂
